Earthquake Response Program
Lets Stand Together in the Service for Elderly People Who Lost Their Families and Shelters to Live on due to Great Earthquake Occurred in Nepal ! Lets Be Humane! Lets Contribute Something Whatever You Can ! Hope Hermitage Nepal (HHN), a voluntary social organization, hereby appeals to everyone across the world to support elderly citizens of Nepal, who are severely affected by the great and deadly earthquake and are left with no care as their families were found buried/dead under rubble. At the first phase, HHN aims to relocate and rehabilitate these elderly people from two most affected districts: Sindhupalchowk and Gorkha. It has planned to run a short-term (for at least six months) support by providing these people with accommodation, food, clothing, medical and other necessary support. This humanitarian initiative has initially been sponsored by The Hope Hermitage Nepal Pvt. Ltd. We believe that with raising funds from people across the world, we will be able to support these elderly people until their life. Besides, we will do lobbying with the Government of Nepal reminding its duty to launch a comprehensive plan specifically for the lives of these people. Also, we have been collaborating with Local Clubs in raising funds. Given the context where thousands of people were buried in debris due to great quake, HHN humbly requests all people to stand together for this humanely grounded support aiming to solely serve for the elderly people who have been dying alive, as they are left alone losing their families and shelters. HHN is determined to provide shelter for maximum of 20 seniors affected but the number can be increased depending on the fund availability for which we are seeking help from our friends and families.
